World Vision was founded to support orphans and widows during Korean War and now operates worldwide in 100 countries and provides services especially for a world where children are safe. The World Vision Korea Children's Choir was founded in August, 1960 by World Vision Founder, Dr. Bob Pierce and Dr. Kyung-Chik Han.

The Choir won the first prize in the World Choir Competition sponsored by the BBC in 1978. Also the choir performed at 1988 Seoul Olympic Games opening ceremony, and traveled to Europe on the civilian mission to accommodate the 2002 World Cup Soccer Games in Korea. The choir, also dubbed "Heavenly Voices" has earned the national prestige, gained fame through about 4,800 overseas concert tours and participation in various international choral festivals over 49 years.

8th Performance Tour(July 23 - Aug. 26, 1975)

Performed with an actress, Julie Andrews, figure skating champion, Janet Lynn and a puppet group, Moffatt for a television program One to One, which was aired in US at Christmas, 1975.
